How to be Motivated

Do you ever get that, when you sit down at your computer and prepare to write, and then think, 'What now?"
I do. A lot. And that's why I've got together some ways to be motivated to write:

1) Get rid of all distractions - It's often really tempting to just sit there and browse the internet, or chek your emails. But that never gets any writing done. Turn off the internet, the TV, the radio etc.

2) Find your faveourite food and eat it - No, seriously, it works! (well, for me it does) It doesn't matter if your favourite food is marshmellows and its seven o'clock in the morning. Eat them, and you'll feel better. After all, its hard to write when you're in a bad mood.

3) Write down all ideas - Even if you have just a vague idea, no matter how ridiculous, write it down. It could lead to another idea, then another. You can always change it later.

4) Look back at the rest - If you've already started your writing, then look back at the rest and edit it. It might not give you more ideas, but at least you're doing something productive!

5) Have a break - If you're really stuck, then leave it. Go for a walk, or play with your pet. Anything at all that has nothing to do with writing. Then come back and see if there's an improvement.
(Whatever you do, DO NOT watch TV. That basically turns your brain to mush and shuts off all your creativity. Plus, it make you tired)

I hope all you aspiring writers out there find this helpful! :D
