The internet is a snail

My internet is being so slow today :( It takes about 5 minutes to load each webpage 0.o

At least its working now. This morning it wouldn't even turn on

The awkward moment when...

Picture the scene. You are sitting in a hall, in the middle of an important test. Suddenly, you get the horrible urge to cough. You try to hold it in, but it chokes out and you sit there having a coughing/sneezing fit for about two minutes while everyone in the halls stops and stares at you.
And then you have to blow your nose because you have a cold XP

Because that sooo didn't happen to me...

Sorry to rain on the parade so soon, but I am in such a bad mood right now.
Most of the teachers at school aren't going to be in, and none of my subject teachers, bar one, are going to be, yet EVERYONE still has to go to school! Even though there will be practically no lessons! WTH?
Instead, we have to sit in our classrooms and read or do homework. But I've done all my homework and I've read every sinlge book in my house at least twice -____-
So I'll just be sitting there. That's about 7 hours of my day wasted.

I would probably learn more at home :(

Goodbye forums!

I am officially leaving the sims 3 forums. At least until a particular sick minded simmer (if you could call them a simmer) has been permabanned and leaves us alone forever.
If you've been on the forums recently, or read any other simming blogs, you'll know who I mean.

It's happened at least twice now, and I've had enough. I can't believe EA is letting him create so many new accounts. Can't they check ip addresses or something?

It's pretty sad that one person can ruin a forum for everybody :(

Anyway, although I am leaving the forums, I will still be on the site, unless it gets too bad on there. I can also be found on inkpop, occasionally DeviantArt (the links are on the sidebar) and of course, the safe haven that is my blog :) Just in case anyone wants me :)

How to make a popular thread

What an fascinating question!
I came up with some ideas:
- write a a good title that is either controversial or thought provoking
- start with a question or at least make your thread interesting to read
- try to post the thread at peak times, when there are loads of simmers online to comment
- addmittedly, continuously bumping your thread keeps it at the top, but it is also annoying and will stop people wanting to comment if it's several pages of 'bumps!'
If you bump twice and still no one answers, it's quite possible no one will.

Well, that is my advice. I clearly don't follow it, because when I do (rarely) post my own threads, they die.
Oh well, I prefer to post in other people's (it's more fun :) )

I was browsing the forums, as you do, when I clicked on this thread. I wish I hadn't.

It started off innocently enough, with the OP annoyed because they couldn't play their game, but then...let's just say it was inappropriate.

EA, this site has had this problem before, WHY are you still letting it continue? Young children look at this site! I've reported them, of course, so PLEASE BAN THEM!!!
