I haven't been around much recently, but school's been so busy, what with a trip to an art museum (very...abstract? XD) and making presents for everyone and a decorate your classroom competition (stressful, but amusing :D)

Concerts

My friends was telling me about a concert she was going to today.
She wasn't inviting me or anything. I think she was just subtly gloating that she was going to one and I wasn't.
So, anyway, that got me thinking about concerts in general. I don't really get them.
Oh, I get the whole 'I'm going to see a live music performance by my favourite band, yay!' thing, but I don't understand why people get so excited that they scream and shout and jump up and down and cry during the performance. I doesn't make any sense to be :/

I went to a concert once, and this was my reaction:

The best part of the day was when they were selling cute little pink furry bears wearing T-shirts.

Good times :)

I didn't actually know most of the acts, so that was probably the reason :D

Although, judging from my neighbours Christmas lights (not to mention the shops) the Christmas countdown has been going on for several months.

I basically changed the template and kept the colour scheme pretty much the same, but the template designer always works painfully slowly on my computer, so this ended up taking several hours -_-

It may still change, but not much now. I depends on whether I can stand using template designer again D:

My mother carved an envelope opener made out of cherry tree wood yesterday, so today I sepnt a large amount of my evening trying to rip paper in a straight line with it.
I have discovered that I'm not very good at this.

A few days ago it was melting-point hot, yet now I'm forced to wear fingerless gloves so my fingers don't seize up.

Anyway, I've been absent a lot recently, and I apologise :I I just don't have much to say at the moment (apart from complaining about the weather, which has a limited interest XD) so yeah :I

On another point, firework season has started :) I was at the supermarket yesterday and there at least three different firework shows going on. And it was barely evening D:

I can hardly wait for Halloween. A whole night of turning the lights off and hiding whenever we hear trick-or-treaters because we forgot to buy sweets is always fun XD

Sims 3 = broken

I haven't been around much recently :I
That's mainly because I haven't played sims for literally ages. Like, 3 months ^^:
...and now I remember why -_-

It took 20 minutes to turn it on, and another 10 to load CAS. I managed to create a sim and move them in, only to find that after 2 minutes of playing, it crashed.
And I lost it all *grrrr*
I turned it on again, and this time it didn't even make it through CAS.

What a fail :(

Crying Times

My guinea pigs are ill :( We took them to the vets and they said they'll being okay, but they keep doing their alarm squeak. Kinda scary... :/

They are also now living in our kitchen for the week until they get better XD Unfortunately, their cage takes up half the kitchen and we now have to step over it to get to the fridge XP

But yeah... apparently they'll be fine, but I'm still worried :/
